The sneering queen of grunge Courtney Love has never really been a darling of the fashion pages and glossy magazines and if she does get a mention then it’s usually for her "hideous" outfits or a bitchy criticism concerning her weight... or Steve Coogan. I was rather stunned to learn that Miss Love had won some Elle fashion award or other; since when did she become so cool?I’ve always been a big, big fan of Love: they way she plays guitar, her attitude, her dresses, her voice and she has the most beautiful way of constructing a sentence to make it sound magical and pretty no matter what she’s talking about. She is an idol to me, especially in the picture below, I usually aim towards this on a night out (I don't get far from it, to be completely honest).
